Timeshare Owners: Get The Best From Your RCI Points
If you have RCI Points left over after making a booking then these are automatically carried forward into the following year. It is possible to choose not to make a booking and save all your RCI Points into the following year, but there is a small charge for this.
Why would you want to do this? Well, it is possible to combine RCI Points from different years to use against a holiday with a higher RCI Points value than perhaps your single year’s value. So, if you find your dream holiday, you can use your current year’s RCI Points and borrow from your following year’s allocation in order to make up the total amount needed. It really is very flexible. And it is even possible to transfer RCI Points to friends and family, even if they are not RCI members, using a low cost Guest Certificate. The only thing to remember is that RCI Points expire if they are not used within two years of the relevant use year, and management fees are payable in the normal way (usually against the allocated week and accommodation type).
